About this video

Equine masseur Beth Butler examines Fiona Price's horse Norris to assess what job he does and his general condition. She divides the task into three areas - front, middle and rear and palpates Norris (feels his muscles). Beth looks for any areas of discomfort and explains what you should expect to find, as well as how to recognise abnormal reactions. Her system provides a useful method for owners to assess their own horses on a regular basis. Beth concludes that Norris is an eventer, competing at a reasonably high level and in good condition. Norris clearly enjoys the experience and Fiona provides a 'twist to the tale' to finish!

Fiona Price 29 Apr 2010 I might do a video at some point of what I have done during Norris' rehabilation (while his work has been limited), which has helped phenomenally with his balance and general way of going.
elaine elliott 29 Apr 2010 Having trouble with foot balance at the moment.. Had nightmare with farrier. I am getting a gait analyis done on my horse to help as she is high in front. So interested in seeing this Fiona as we have had such balance issues.
