About this video

Jane has competed for GB at two Olympics. Here she rides Lucky Star (her Beijing parnter) in the Grand Prix Special at the Hickstead Masters. We watch her warm up and then see part of her test. Jane tells Fiona Price she didn't have the easiest ride in the Grand Prix the previous day, as Lucky Star was too laid back. He had a snooze in the morning after a relaxing massage! She was pleased with him in the Special but Jane made an expensive mistake! Owning up to Lucky Star's limitations (he's her best friend and has partnered her for 13 years), Jane tells us she's invested heavily in a younger generation who are are stars for the future!

LisTis 17 Jul 2011 I didn't know Jane personally, but miss her! So sorry she is gone. Rest in peace Jane.
Lallanslover 9 Sep 2009 Lucky Star certainly is a testament to how correct training will prolong a horses competitive career! He looks utterly fantastic, and although not the most flamboyant in his paces, he obviuosly enjoys his job. Well done Jane, looking forward to seeing your up and coming horses.
Phelpsie's Boys 24 Aug 2009 Lovely gent of a horse and I really like the way Jane Gregory talks about her horses and about the sport. I'm looking forward to seeing Soul Sister in the future!
catrin 23 Aug 2009 Fab video & lovely to see an older horse so happy in his work.
windy hollow 22 Aug 2009 I like the way he is so relaxed. He does not wring his tail and it is obvious that he is in great condition and not overburdened by the test. Good for Jane for keeping him so long!
