About this video

Dr David Marlin's travels take him to South Africa for the FEI endurance race '09 and some teaching, possibly the rugby and the wild life too! He shows us amazing scenery and unusual African roadside entertainments! The event venue appears surreal to the outsider and David is bemused by their choice of music. We go out onto the course with him, which by South African standards is 'flat' and see just what the competitors have to grapple with. We are also treated to a mini safari! David transports us to the real Africa which is beautiful, hot and dusty!

Fiona Price 16 Jul 2009 It comes from a music catalogue we subscribe to so all the pieces we use are adaptions of an original theme or specially composed for the catalogue, for copyright reasons!
