About this video

What a great time Horse Hero’s Fiona Price had trying her hand at Mounted Games. As she discovered, it's every bit as much as sport for grown-ups as it is for kids! Under the expert instruction of British World Champs’ team member Alex Franklin, and pitted against the experienced 8 year old Ben on his one-eyed Shetland pony, Fiona was put to the test through a number of games, some trickier than others and found wanting! Alex shows Fiona how it’s done at race pace rather than ‘snail pace’ and even lets her have a go on her pocket rocket, Blue who Fiona compares to riding a 1000 cc motorbike. Adrenaline or what? Put your feet up and enjoy!

Fiona Price 7 Sep 2009 Once is enough for the experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it but it's not going to replace eventing for me, though I can totally understand the addiction it has!
Jodie 7 Sep 2009 Love mounted games, it's my favourite discipline, you did VERY VERY well to do that vault, friends have asked me to teach them some games on my pony and can't do that half as good as you did then - and their 15!!! Have you had a go since?
Sassy2k9 26 Aug 2009 I love doing mounted games. Its really good fun- but also hard especially for beginners, such as yourself. Its hard to get used to the speed, and the amount of stamina it takes from both horse and rider! So I have to say: Really well done, that was a great first attempt and an enjoyable video! Pat on the back! Can't wait for the reining video. x
Fiona Price 25 Aug 2009 Next on the cards is reining!
pepper93 25 Aug 2009 It looks hard enough even bending through the poles lol!!! Looks like a fun day! Hoping for more of these masterclasses now Fiona!
