Just days after winning the Queen's Cup at Windsor '09 (a career high for Mark) he talks to Fiona Price about polo. Mark offers his thoughts on what makes a good polo pony, their training and fitness, the ideal temperament and breed. He also talks about 'star quality' in horse and rider and his life in Argentina for half the year. Mark describes the joy of winning the British Open in 2003 with friends including the world's leading lady rider, Nina Clarkin, a female polo icon (along with Mark's mum who still holds the women's high goal handicap record). Marks' goal is a handicap of 8 by the end of 2010. A great insight into the sport!
