A fascinating interview with one of the country's leading veterinary surgeons and lameness expert, Dr Svend Kold. Svend has had an amazing life both in academia and in general practise. He is passionate about racing and is also chief vet at Ascot races. In his non-existant spare time, Svend is an expert witness in legal veterinary cases, making regular trips to the High Court. Interestingly, his equestrian interest began in Denmark with dressage. Svend describes horses as 'the ultimate athlete'. Interviewed by Fiona Price, May '08.
