About this video

This isn't just a yard tour, it's an insight into polo! As winner of the Queens' Cup '09, Mark's a bit of a superstar. But he does come from a polo dynasty where his mum (who makes an appearance in the video) still holds the female high goal world record. The yard has a fabulous traditional quadrangle with stables in every nook and cranny. We find out about Mark's dual life in Argentina, afternoon siestas and the breeding and training of ponies. We also walk out onto the enormous pitch, as the Tomlinsons own the famous Beaufort Polo Club which is located at the yard. Finally, you'll be amazed by the sight of ponies being exercised in a herd!

DaisyHunter75 18 May 2010 If you are in the USA and want to know where in FL to go play polo, you need to hit the Wellington area. That's the mecca of all things equestrian here.
Louisa Brassey 16 Jan 2010 Mark is as fit as his ponies - wowsers! Makes me want to take up polo!
charlieboy 20 Jul 2009 Lovely location and lucky girl who Mark finds time to be with! Personally the wearing of riding hats is a personal choice - the number of horses the guys ride and the heat they work in in some way explains why they choose not to wear them. Anyway, polo horses are not crazy rearing, bucking broncos as they wouldn't be polo mounts. Lucky them being able to be so 'at one' with the horse and the outdoors.
polorocks 15 Jul 2009 I lived in the UK about five years ago and I loved it, but I loved learning Polo and how wonderful a game it is, I miss it. I am in the states now and where I live there is polo but the excitement of it isn't the same as the UK. Isn't there a place in Florida which is popular?? I can't remember. I miss the polo guys too, they probably forgot about me by now lol. I see they are doing well! Anyways, I loved watching the video, it was lovely seeing Mark!
