British team dressage rider, Anna Ross Davies is a first class trainer. She's also funny and has a great insight into her horse's pysche. Merrie is a 7 year old mare who's on the World Class Programme, as a potential star for the future. "You have to look to your own riding if there are issues with your horse", says Anna, a philosophy she gained from training with Ulla Salzgeber. She starts by testing Merrie's gears with transitions and also works on flexion. Anna demonstrates how body awareness influences her horse and minimises the need for aids. She says a logical system is essential to create the foundation for more advanced work.
