About this video
She said she was going to do it and she did - in style! Laura piloted Silence, the 18 year old owned by Dan Jocelyn (and recently retired from 4* eventing) to completion in the Open Pre-novice at Tweseldown Horse Trials. Looking relieved after the cross country (not to mention a little red and out of breath) and wearing an unfamiliar body protector and crash cap, Laura declared she was hooked. Could this be the start of a top eventing career, alongside dressage? Interviewed by Fiona Price, October '08.

keyses 5 Aug 2011 Great film, hope Silence gets to do something next season, he looks too good to stay in a field. Lovely riding, as ever!
Giovanni 22 Mar 2010 Thought the music and video where fab' music made me laugh suited the light hearted nature of the video. Fab Thanks
Jayne 15 Aug 2009 Well done Laura, you did so well. Eventing is not for the faint hearted. You are such an inspiration. Silence is a total dude. Didn't really like the cross country music Fiona though! Sorry!
FlyinghighML 17 Jul 2009 Fair play to you Laura, but PLEASE don't give up the dressage for eventing!!! I would miss your training videos too much!!
KatieCarter 17 Jun 2009 I agree with random_monkey! The music was fun and suitable and yes, I feel sorry for anyone warming up with Silence and Laura next to them! Great video!
