annabelle 26 Jul 2011 I made a discovery that the best tool for buffing boots is an old cashmire sweater. But I can be tricky to get one donated to the pollishing kit haha!
Laura T 23 Apr 2011 My number one tip is: After polishing them this way get a ball of slightly damp cotton wool and buff them up using small circles.
Ems147 27 Oct 2009 My husband is our chief boot cleaner but whenever he isn't to hand I do the show boots this way which is the way my grandpa taught me too. The polish doesn't come off on anything providing you've buffed them enough.
Fiona Price 3 Jul 2009 I would usually use a damp cloth to remove the grease etc, then dry then apply the polish. I guess it depends how dirty they are. A brush may not make much of an impact on grease or mud!
maria-1504 3 Jul 2009 I think this technique is absolutely brilliant. But what is the best way to clean the boots? Water or just a brush?
