  • I manage to win over an osteopath

Another long day and another long drive but it is worth it. The day was great. Everyone was very enthusiastic about the work and the feedback has been excellent. I have two great shots in my presentation that show a horse that now lives with us here at the farm that illustrate a poorly developed neck and then a more correct outline that was achieved after a few weeks work. This horse was so incorrectly muscled and had such a bizarre posture when he first arrived it was hardly surprising that he couldn’t stand still. Far from getting after him we used ground work to help re-educate him and the two shots couldn’t be more dramatic. A lovely equine osteopath asked for copies of the pictures to include in his lectures and admitted he had been quite sceptical of my work when he first walked into the lecture but had become a convert during my talk. I freely accept that the work seems so simple (and may be even strange) that some people think that it cannot possibly be as effective as it is and I too thought this when my partner Tony first told me about it when he first came across the technique in LA. Thankfully I went to see Linda give a demonstration for the BHS so that I could judge for myself and have never looked back.
