Yipppeee, yipppeee. I have snow, snow, snow. I am so over excited. Last night Emily, Jon and I went snow chasing. We tried to find the snow that was due but returned home disappointed. At 1.30am our lawns were still green but by 7.00am they were buried under a glorious six inch thick white blanket. And I can’t go anywhere. I live on a steep hill, which is always lethal in this weather, and whilst my trusty old pick up truck would probably be fine I will not be impressed if someone slides straight into my bonnet.
Whilst the donkeys may be appalled by the stunning scenery, my Maremma dog is in her element
and she has spent the morning sitting in the garden watching the falling snow. Good old Tina is the only one who can get to the yard as she lives next to the farm so I know all the animals there will be well taken of. Tobogganing is on the agenda for this afternoon and I shall spend my time until then boxing up our belongings in my old office so that I can get on with converting it into a bedroom for Daisy as hers is rather on the small side. That's if I can tear myself away from the beautiful, silent outdoors...
